We had a phenomenal time at Shy Bird last week. We were a very large group and had worked with Kayla in the events team. She was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable. She helped set up the entire event and passed us off to Shannon, the manager. Shannon made sure everything was executed flawlessly. She coordinated with the kitchen to ensure everyone's dietary restrictions were taken care of. The food presentation and taste was amazing! Everything was beautifully labeled so guests knew what they could eat. Could not recommend Shy Bird or the team more!!

Our favourite restaurant from a recent trip to Boston. Fun menu and anything chicken is next level amazing, especially if it has the bird bath sauce! Such a fun restaurant and staff were incredibly friendly and great with the kids. Definitely something for everyone on the menu. Oh ... and a solid cocktail menu too!

Food was so fresh and amazingly delicious and the best coffee. Service was excellent with friendly staff. Next time in Boston we will go here again to try the dinner food.

Great little cafe near Kendall Square. Came here for dinner and was not disappointed. The drinks were delicious and though the food was not spicy, everything was well made. The staff also did a good job with social distancing and it was extremely affordable for how much we ordered. Excited to come back again soon!

Great restaurant, food and service. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. Many chicken options...(vegetarian options available too) I got the dinner for two which is a full chicken with house salad and fries. Everything was delicious but 'house salad' was just seasoned lettuce!? My friends like the burger and chicken sandwich as well. Ambiance was really good. I would come back here again.

We came just for the cookie because we read it is excellent. IT IS DEFINITELY INCREDIBLE, just add ice cream so it is much better. Perfectly chewy and chunky.

Not what they are known for but the Smash burger is amazing! Good atmosphere to meet up with friends.

Elevated comfort food with reasonable prices for Kendall Square. Service was friendly and fast, and they have cute seating areas both indoors and outdoors. I especially like that they have slightly padded chairs outdoors instead of classic barebones metal ones --it was a small touch that made our overall experience more enjoyable and comfortable. For the food: I loved their umami bowl --it's a good filling portion with plenty of veggies and umami flavor mixed in with lentils and brown rice. Would recommend. The half bird could have been juicier and more unique in flavor. Would skip. The Zab's rotisserie wings were delicious --crispy and coated with flavorful sauce on the outside, but tender and juicy on the inside. Would recommend. Overall, a cute place to go with friends, for date night, or dining solo. I'll keep coming back for their umami bowl and to try more of their different chicken options.

Ambience is 9/10. Great place, pretty cool spot for dinner. The service was just ok. We ordered a hard kombucha and a margarita, and two very good margaritas were brought to us (mostly ice, very little drink) and 20 or so minutes later we got up and asked the bartender since our waiter had not returned. They took back the untouched second drink and were kind enough to take it off the bill. We also ordered a butternut squash soup and a side of mac and cheese. The soup was decent though the mac and cheese was unexpected: the cheese was reminiscent of Kraft or Velveeta. Not thick... tasted fine though. The pasta they used was perfect perfect perfect.
